Bridge of Weir


Here at Station Wynd, we are looking to create high quality residential properties within the charming village of Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire. Situated on the site of the old railway station this will be an attractive end of village development. Within the area known as Ranfurly, the site is located on the former Bridge of Weir Railway Station and sidings. The station operated from from June 1864 until the line was closed in January 1983, the route of the former line is now used as part of the National Cycle Network. The railway substantially altered the character of the village and at the time contributed to its affluence and hub for cotton spinning, blanket making mills and leather tanning.
